Airplane
You can choose between two airports:
LISBOA (HUMBERTO DELGADO) and PORTO (FRANCISCO SÁ CARNEIRO).
Montemor-o-Velho is located between the both cities, about 200 km away.
Train
Train travels are made through CP-COMBOIOS DE PORTUGAL.
All international trains coming to Portugal stop at Coimbra-B train station.

Bus
Arrive by bus from anywhere in the country. Take a bus to Coimbra or Figueira da Foz using Rede Expressos.

Traveling by car
If you’re traveling by car follow these instructions:
Travel from Lisbon (200km):
1 – Follow Highway A8 and then A17
2 – Exit at Figueira da Foz and catch A14 the direction of Coimbra.
3 – Turn on exit 4 and follow the national route: Estrada Nacional N111 until Montemor-o-Velho.
Travel from Porto (135km):
1 – Follow highway A1 in the direction of Lisbon.
2 – Turn on exit 13 to Figueira da Foz / Montemor-o-Velho.
3 – Stay on A14 and turn on exit 5 to the national route: Estrada Nacional N111, in the direction of Montemor-o-Velho.
4 – Follow the route Estrada Nacional N111 until you arrive at Montemor-o-Velho.
From other origins:
1 – Go in the direction of Figueira da Foz
2 – Catch the highway A14 towards Coimbra and follow the national route Estrada Nacional N111 until you arrive at Montemor-o-Velho.
Alternatively:
1 – Go in the direction of Coimbra.
2 – Catch the highway A14 in the direction of Figueira da Foz and exit on Montemor-o-Velho, then following national route Estrada Nacional N111 OR
3 – Get on the national route: Estrada nacional N111, and go in the direction of Figueira da Foz until you arrive in Montemor-o-Velho.

1- Get a VIVA Viagem Card. In the Metro network, these cards can be purchased and loaded directly from the Automatic Ticket Vending Machines and Ticket Offices.

3- At ORIENTE train station catch a train to COIMBRA-B
At Coimbra-B station, you will have bus connections to the center of Montemor-o-Velho
From Porto airport catch the Metro do Porto to CAMPANHÃ
1- Get a ANDANTE BLUE TICKET Card. These cards can be purchased and loaded directly from the Automatic Ticket Vending Machines and Ticket Offices.
2- Validate your ANDANTE ticket when you start your travel. You must validate, at most, 10 minutes before your travel starts.
3- At CAMPANHÃ train station catch a train to COIMBRA-B
